2024 Topographical Map Sweatshirt

This project began with Saroj Kauffman taking a GIS class at Goshen College where he learned the skills of map-making and interpreting geographical information through a computer screen. One night as we were talking, he mentioned how it would be cool to map out Drift Creek! His original version included more detail, elevations and the names of the tributaries — all of which were cool, but too much to squeeze onto a sweatshirt. (We are still hoping to use that information on a printed poster/map someday!) So collaboration began with Max Vanderwyst and Jared Oyer to create a simplified version of the map which would be more print-friendly. (Not to mention, we love the little insider scoop of the image that is easily identifiable by folks who are familiar with Drift Creek!)

This sweatshirt is printed on olive with text in cream and turquoise with a bit of gray for the road on the backside. (The sweatshirt in the photo belongs to one of the caretakers and has signs of wear. New garments do not have bleach discoloration on the sleeves.) It is available in ADULT sizes from XS to XXL.
