The annual member’s meeting for The Mennonite Camp Association of Oregon is held in early November at Drift Creek Camp. For 2019, the gathering will take place November 8-10. Members and Friends are encouraged to participate. Regular events include the annual business meeting on Saturday morning, children’s activities, benefit auction, Sunday morning worship, good fun, food and fellowship. The 2019 event will kick-off with donuts, ice-cream and social gathering on Friday night. On Saturday, the directors will provide an annual report and a brief look back on the summer. Following lunch, guests will engage in the annual benefit auction. Please consider bringing along, (or sending out ahead of time), your donations for the auction. Food items and other consumables are always popular, as are one-of-a-kind creations, certificates for experiences such as sporting events or dinners, antiques, etc. Thank you for your auction donations! This year’s funds will be directed toward covering the losses from the 2019 road closure. (If you have not yet heard about the culvert replacement project at North Creek, please follow this link.) On Sunday morning, we will hear from Galen Martin of Eugene Mennonite Church.
This annual family camp tradition is the perfect opportunity for campers of all ages to enjoy the best of what Drift Creek has to offer….there is sure to be fun for the whole family! It is our chance to say thank you to DCC’s generous supporters and an opportunity for you to invest in Drift Creek. Will you join us?
